PIPE REPAIRED; WATER FLOW RESTORED

(July 14, 2005) With repairs completed on the North Texas Municipal

Water

District?s broken water main and Frisco water tanks back to capacity,

the

City of Frisco now reverts to a Stage 2 on the Drought Contingency Plan.

A broken water main from the North Texas Municipal Water District to

Frisco forced water coming to the city to be shut off. By 2:15 p.m.

Wednesday some water flow had been restored. By 11:30 p.m. the repairs

The North Texas Municipal Wast District had to shut down the water supply line to Frisco for repairs.

It is IMPERATIVE that all neighborhood sprinklers are shut off immediately.

We may be down for 24 hours. At current consumption rates, we have enough water in storage for about 8 hours. Please spread the word out to anyone you know.
